Having visited the Smooth Collie Club championship show on several occasions, as well as following the breed at general championship shows over many years, we decided to visit Crufts in 2009, specifically to watch the breed, as we had decided the time had come to try to acquire well-bred foundation stock. We had expected a long wait, but this turned out not to be the case, and we are most grateful to Trevor and Birgit Hayward for allowing us to own the two beautiful young ladies shown below. They have given us the opportunity to obtain foundation stock of breeding that far exceeded our expectations.

We are also grateful to Pat Howarth for allowing the Crufts qualified 'COWNBRED LUCKY DIP FOR KINGROCK' to come to us. Although very much the 'wild child' he has brought us so much pleasure and is a joy to own. In the photograph below, taken just after joining us in September 2009, he is 14 months old.
